About

Freudian Slip started after the famous Pretty Boy Freud (aka Ed Cotton) decided to retire from the very active, hard-working band Pretty Boy Freud. The Freudian Slip Band is made up of past members of Pretty Boy Freud and friends of Ed Cotton. We still play a lot of the tunes Freud was known for, but more current numbers too.

The Players Are

Matt Johns, Lead singer and guitar.
At age nineteen, Matt was accepted into the Glenn Miller Orchestra as a woodwind player where he enjoyed playing second alto for over a year while also singing with the vocal group, The Moonlight Serenaders. Since his official departure from the Miller tour in April, 2004, he has twice been asked to return to fill other spots in the band including the lead alto and first tenor chairs, both of which he was delighted to accommodate. Matt is excited to again be a member of this prestigious group of musicians, and thrilled to be named the male vocalist of The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra.
